More than 60 people, both young and old, use this special form of therapy to help both physical and mental disabilities at M.A.R.E. Riding Center. Tuesday through Friday, they're doing a ride-a-thon, when they're asking for people to sponsor riders to raise money for their scholarship fund.
I met a woman who used to have no feeling from her neck down. After ten years of riding horses, she can now walk on her own. She says this hippotherapy is a huge reason she's come so far.
